In 2007, my first year attempting NanoWrimo, work requirements got in the way, despite my best efforts.

However, I DID manage to write 10,564 words in about 7 days, which was very much on track.

In 2008, I finished. I had a completely different job that allowed me to actually have a life (that I can forgo for the novel).
(50, 097 words in 26 days)

2009's attempt is called "The Trials of Elijah Marcus Ash " , a follow up to 2008's submission. (50, 176 words in 28 days)
