2010's attempt is called "A Whole Lot of Me " , a departure from the other two books...(not that I don't have other books planned for the Ash family, just looking for something different this time...)

My word count for NanoWriMo

My author profile is at http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/232858

Read an excerpt of the book. Note that it changes at least daily, more if I have more writing sessions.

In 2008, I finished. I had a completely different job that allowed me to actually have a life (that I could forgo for the novel).

In 2007, my first year attempting NanoWrimo, work requirements got in the way, despite my best efforts.

However, I DID manage to write 10,564 words in about 7 days, which was very much on track.

Blog Action Day 2008 logo

This project addresses a single issue each year . This years' topic was Poverty. Having had some experience in the matter, I submitted a piece in about 30 minutes on the last day of the event. It can be found at http://www.greymatterideas.com/php_uploads/wordpress/?p=38

Note: the blog is experiencing some technical issues, so it's not available at this time.
